"Great puppets! Great music! Great set!

Best of our season so far!” Management Oldham Coliseum

Tilly awakes broken and alone on a dump and encounters unusual friends – Dan the Pan, Terusty the Pram and Suitcase Man who are all anxious to pass through the Door who has lost its key!

Tilly sets off on a journey to find her own Lime tree and solve the predicament. But can a puppet find her way in this topsy turvy world?

MY TREE is a captivating new adventure for all the family (children 5 years and upwards). The performance is packed with visual excitement, spicy spectacle and the wizardry of animated theatre accompanied by a rich score of new music from Kenyan Musician Martin Ngunzi drawing inspiration from many corners of the world.

Contemporary themes of displacement and refugee status feature as well as those which come from the storytelling landscape of archetypes found in the tales of our ancestors.

Directed by Christopher Leith, Décor by Peter Quinnel, puppets Julia McLean and Orlando Bishop
